We also accept Bank Deposit through your Australian bank account. Orders paid for via Bank Deposit can take up to 72 hours to process. Please consider this carefully when deciding which method of payment to choose, especially if you require your order urgently.
When choosing Bank Deposit please be aware that if we do not receive cleared funds or hear from you within 5 working days of date of order, your order will be cancelled and any funds we receive after this date will be returned to you. It is a good idea to check to make sure you have the funds and time to pay for your order as soon as you place it.
We now offer Regular and Express delivery options! We believe in never having to pay more for delivery than necessary. We calculate delivery using a tiered cost structure based on the size of your order, so you are never over-charged on small orders. Charges start at just $3.00 and are capped at a total of $12.00 for Regular Delivery and a total of $16.00 for Express Delivery.
When you choose Regular delivery: You do not get a tracking number or any insurance. Your order will arrive in approximately 2-7 working days. Our policy is to instruct Australia Post not to safe drop parcels. This means if you are not at home when your parcel is delivered and it cannot fit in your letterbox, Australia Post couriers will deliver your parcel to the nearest post office for collection, rather than leaving it on your doorstep or in a "safe place". While we take every step to ensure your parcels arrive safely, we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of orders sent using Regular delivery.
When you choose Express Delivery: You get a tracking number assigned to your order after it has been lodged for delivery. To view your tracking number simply log into "My Alegorie" and view your order details. Your order will arrive on the next working day when you place your order before 12pmon Monday-Thursday, if you live in a metropolitan area. If you live outside of a metropolitan area your order may take up to 3 working days to arrive.
At this time Alegorie does not offer international shipping but look forward to offering this service in the future.
Product Accuracy and Availability
Alegorie carries limited runs of most items to ensure exclusivity of our ranges. In the event that something you have purchased becomes unavailable, you can choose to place that item on back-order or we will refund your purchase price and delivery fee by the same method you paid.
We photograph all our products in house and spend hours ensuring product pictures are as clear and true-to-life as possible. Your computer's colour settings may alter the way a product looks on-screen.
Many of our leather products are hand dyed and distressed to create unique, vintage textures. Uneven colour is often the result of hand-dye and drum-dye processes. Cracks and light scratches are often deliberately manufactured, and some stains and patches are usually the leather's own natural markings showing through the dye process. These should never be considered flaws, but the lovely, natural nature of leather.
If you feel a product has been grossly misrepresented please contact customer service immediately after recieving and inspecting your product.
